Planet of the Grapes are delighted to introduce our tasting cellar.

What's so special about it?
We hold regular tastings here for up to 24 people with the idea of giving everyone the chance to taste great, rare, interesting and damn good wines at reasonable prices with people who know what they are talking about (winemakers, etc) in unpretentious surroundings with a bit of food.

How can I attend a tasting?
Full details of our tastings and tickets are available online. Click here to buy tickets now.

It's my birthday!
If you have a special occassion to celebrate or just fancy a treat we also host private tastings. For details or enquiries, email or call us.

Cheers,
Matt & Marc.
Our cellar can seat up to 20 people in comfort, surrounded by thousands of bottles of wine.

The cellar hire fee includes your tutor for the evening.

We can provide a splendid buffet of meats and cheeses from 'Cheese at Leadenhall'.

The wine budget is entirely up to you, a bottle of wine provides 12 tasting samples so for up to 12 people only 1 bottle is required, 12-24 = 2 bottles.

We recommend trying 8 wines in an evening, all ideas and themes possible!

For details or enquiries, email or call us.
I have attended several tastings at POTG over the years, and never left less than refreshed and enlightened. Two tips: take careful notes at the time - as memory proves fluid in this environment - and take the next day off work!
