We have a choice of fantastic venues in London, including our own bars and tasting cellar, or we can set up in your home or office. Below are details of our own private hire venues:

Shop Cellar (9 New Oxford St)
Our cellar can seat up to 20 people in comfort, surrounded by thousands of bottles of wine.

The cellar hire fee includes your tutor for the evening.

We can provide a splendid buffet of meats and cheeses from 'Cheese at Leadenhall'.

The wine budget is entirely up to you, a bottle of wine provides 12 tasting samples so for up to 12 people only 1 bottle is required, 12-24 = 2 bottles.

We recommend trying 8 wines in an evening, all ideas and themes possible!

Bow Lane Wine Bar (74-82 Queen Victoria St)

The bar can seat up to 30 people and up to 40 standing.

The hire fee can include food and a tutor if required, wines in the bar are charged at retail + £10 flat rate corkage.

Ideas for tasting and specific themes can be catered for. In addition to the buffet of meats and cheeses, we also offer a range of delicious hot and cold pies.

Please note that both cellar and bar hires require a deposit which is fully refundable for events which are cancelled within 3 working days of the date.
Just wanted to say a quick thanks for the marvellous champagne you delivered for us on Friday - it was superb. I received only compliments! Thanks very much indeed and we'll definitely use you chaps again for future receptions and I'll be recommending your shop, bar and services to all I know.

When we planned a wine tasting our chief aim was to enable our guests to enjoy generous glasses of fabulous wines and were delighted that we could do that within the min spend for exclusive evening hire of the POG bar. Planet of the Grapes selected amazing wines for us to taste and compare, and delivered their incredible knowledge about each wine in their typically relaxed, down-to-earth manner. It is this 'unfussy' approach that makes us at IG Group enjoy dealing with PoG so much. Add to that the fact that we think the POG wine bar is a tucked-away gem of a place and you will understand why we would thoroughly recommend it.
